Refrigeration screw compressor

Screw compressors are a unique kind of machine that can be used to keep things cool. These compressors are the central part of a fridge, pumping away to keep the inside cool. They are superheroes when it comes to keeping food fresh and cool.

Refrigeration screw compressors operate by compressing refrigerant gas in order to cool things. These machines can be seen, for example, in grocery stores or food plants. They work to compress the refrigerant gas with the help of two turning screws, which can cool the refrigeration system.

How Refrigeration Screw Compressors Work?

They work by squeezing the refrigerant gas with two rotating screws. As the screws rotate, they trap the gas between them and press it through the single phase screw compressor. It increases the pressure of the gas and decreases the temperature within the system. Then the gas flows to a part called the condenser, where it relinquishes its heat and cools off before returning to the system.
